The search process is a lot more complicated than simply typing your company name into Google and reviewing what comes up.

Our research teams use specialist search tools to scan the far flung corners of the web to discover what's really out there.

We hunt down blogs, sniff out social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace, scan news sites, track discussion forums, view what's on video sites such as YouTube and monitor industry sites.

We keep a special look out for protest and anti-sites which have resulted in much grief for some of the world's greatest brands.

We don't just do it once. Our search process is meticulous and ongoing because new material is being added daily. It's a time consuming business but well worth it as a company's reputation is its most valuable asset.

Each month we present you with a brand protection report outlining what we have found. Then we take steps to remove what you don't like.

Removing Content
We aim to wipe out unfair, unjust or unhelpful content or to have erroneous reports corrected.

It's not an easy task and it takes a great deal of time and effort. We prefer persuasion and reasoned argument to going legal...and we usually succeed.

We are good at what we do but we don't guarantee to remove or correct absolutely everything. Where it's impossible to deliver, we take steps to move items down the search engines so they are less obvious and less visual.
